Allegiance – Synopsis
When Tuck’s pleasant family weekend is interrupted, by an apparently eccentric Russian billionaire, he has no idea that their worlds are about to become inextricably linked.
Beautiful Sophia Diminov has just qualified as a doctor, and has chosen to spend some well-earned down time working with a mission in South America, travelling to remote locations to help vaccinate kids against childhood diseases, and generally help out where she can. Two months living without hot running water, good sanitation, a decent bed, and fast-food. Not a problem. She’d cope with that.
Besides, they’d be doing so much good for the remote communities.
Well, that was the plan…!
Alex Morales has grown up with his mom in uniform, first in the Navy, then in the FBI. It’s one of the lasting memories he has of his childhood, in a good way. His mom is awesome.
Since she married Ryan Tucker, and they were adopted into the Alpha-Stalwart family, it just convinced Alex even more that he wanted a career in the military.
At twenty-four, Alex is now a Marine Lieutenant, veteran of two tours of Afghanistan.
When his team get sent down to Colombia to find and recover a bunch of missing American do-gooders, Alex is thrilled to have the chance to lead his men on what would be his first proper solo mission, without his superiors looking over his shoulder.
In, locate, recover, and out. How simple could it get? But if he did the job well, it would earn him a pat on the back from the top brass, as one of the do-gooders was supposedly the daughter of some politician friend of the Colonel.
In hindsight, he should have remembered that the Morales family don’t have that great a history when it comes to visiting Colombia, and not stopped to count those chickens before they’d hatched!
Maybe then he wouldn’t have been so surprised when the mission became the new dictionary definition for the term FUBAR!
